I'm a band teacher. Real talk, Rocket League self-improvement is the closest thing to learning an instrument I've ever come across. These kids are going to be the kinds of folks who make a new year's resolution, and then actually stick to it. They will always know that they are capable of making progress through consistent efforts. Way to find a story worth telling.

Just got back from the London 2024 Major. Took a friend because he loves the game. I play for $hit$ and giggles. I was actually blown away by the crowds and support for the teams, especially Gentlemates and Falcons! It was absolutely amazing and renewed my love for the game. Shame Mr Khan didn't make it but i did catch up with ArsenalIRL which was nice.... although im old enough to be his dad.

As cool as this is, I also see it as a downside 😩 Epic Games is damn near destroying the game. People are fed up with it and the company. A lot are even putting the game down for good. Overall, Epic and RL are leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths and Epic hasn’t been doing shit about it. A lot of us are are hoping that if enough people ditch the game and and muster up enough concern and outrage, then Epic would finally do something about it and make some serious changes. BUT OF COURSE, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF THAT, THIS STORY HAPPENS! It sort of poops all over the negative stuff and covers that poop in a thin layer of artificial gold. Damn it. I mean, congratulations…. But still…. Dammit 😩
